Photography and stage theater. Art as gestures and expressions of female bodies

The artist was born in Florence where she lives and works and this has strongly influenced her creations, having studied at the Academy of Fine Arts and living in a Renaissance city filled with details

Through photography, painting and installation, she portrays performances that she sets up as a stage theatre. Her narration follows a fine thread, the hidden or implicit meaning that the viewer can discover between the semantics of her images, an art that sometimes requires a reading of the symbols, gestures and expressions of female faces and bodies, which dwell in landscapes that she describes as modern 'capricious'

This is where the concept of "Levitas" was developed, which is the name of the homonymous series, where suspension is a metaphor for the energy of the world, lent to us to live our lives and which, once we have reached the end of our life, we must give back in a continuous circle where life and death are the same; "from the earth we come and to the earth we will return"

Stones that "float" in aseptic or well-structured landscapes, silent and evocative, offering an effort of empathetic reflection. She works with various galleries in Italy and abroad, has exhibited at the 54th Venice Biennale and in various solo shows, fairs and group exhibitions
