Language school in Valencia. Design combining Colour, Identity and Tradition

Masquespacio designs a language school in Valencia where tradition and design blend with colours, including comfort, through the use of warm materials such as pine

Tradition and design, combined with colour and comfort are the basis of the new project presented by Masquespacio for a language school in Valencia

Through the flag, which represents the corporate identity, the project is based on a graphic text, which describes the three main features of learning a language, levels, objective and conversation, complemented by the values of the city of Valencia that mix modern and ancient architecture

The space is subdivided into three classrooms, a teacher's room and a lounge. Each of the classrooms and rooms is a defragmentation of the identity of the 2Day Languages brand and includes parts of the Spanish language and Valencian architecture, as well as the three colours of the brand itself, which in turn are the representation of the three levels A, B and C established by the common European framework of reference for languages. For this reason, each class has a different colour, which diffuses as if it represented the progress in language learning

In the rooms, the focus is on the students and their teachers, who are considered to be the real training places. The intervention is limited to a minimum, without forgetting the freshness and positive atmosphere that you have to experience in every space, as well as matching the importance between the modern decoration and the beauty of the neoclassical architecture of the building

The materials used are as warm as pine to generate pleasant sensations combined with their functional properties to facilitate their work. Like the two tables that can be separated and stacked at any time. The lounge has the same colour unit, but this time it blends in with the decorative elements taken from the brand identity

The colour becomes part of the structure, highlights the spaces, separates them and makes them specific. It also has a linguistic surface where nothing else needs to be perceived other than the colour itself
