Cement and bamboo are used to create a Ching Chair, a project of furniture objects created by Taiwanese designer Ta-Chih Lin, which revitalizes and gives nobility to everyday materials, emphasizing their technical characteristics through touch and form as well

Cement and bamboo are both very common materials in Taiwan, however their large-scale use makes them look like low quality materials. Ching Chair is a design project that aims to redefine the meaning and the relationship between the two materials, through the sense of touch and vision, while preserving the characteristic weave of the original material
