Extruded volumes for a Villa in Girona. Cantilevered terraces and glazed geometries overlooking the lake

Fran Silvestre Arquitectos designs this architecture with strong geometries, where the structure defines spaces and functions. The cantilevered upper floor creates a patio on the ground floor that provides shade to the living area of the house, from where you can take advantage of the panoramic view

Located in the PGA golf course of Girona, the house stretches looking for the best views of the place where it is located. The project is arranged with two extruded spaces, two superimposed volumes, in which the upper one turns in the direction of the lake in front, like a shelf that tries to generate a large shaded terrace. Two elements that make up a single project, which distinguishes the facades of great dynamism generated by the gaps that open in them

In the internal space the ground floor is spread over two areas which are divided by the staircase, which is perpendicular to the volumes, with a double height and which controls the separation of the service spaces. On the other hand, on the upper floor, the stairs remain in the rear and all the rooms are distributed in such a way that they overlook the golf course.
